Individual Residential Building

The architectural concept was shaped by a comprehensive analysis of the project site, its location, and the design brief. The site is bordered by public spaces and streets on nearly all sides, which, on the one hand, provides convenience and accessibility, while on the other hand presents certain challenges in creating a private residential environment. From the outset, the primary objective of the project was to create a cozy and protected residential micro-environment where the client and their family could not only enjoy a peaceful and comfortable lifestyle but also fully appreciate the quality and experience of living within the space. Although the site is not characterized by a dramatic topography, it exhibits subtle variations in elevation. During the development of the concept, this characteristic inspired the idea of creating an artificial landscaped hill that would be naturally integrated into its surroundings and enclosed by lush greenery. The residence is positioned at the center of this elevated landscape, serving as the focal point of the overall composition. The artificially formed hill on which the house stands symbolizes achievement and success. It functions as a pedestal, emphasizing the significance and architectural identity of the building within its context. At the same time, the hill is more than a compositional feature; it establishes both a visual and psychological separation between the public and private realms, enhancing privacy and reinforcing the distinct and independent character of the residential environment.
