Individual Residential Building

The design concept is based on a composition of strict geometric forms, envisioned as a new human-made space that simultaneously emphasizes and frames nature as the primary “architect.” From the early stages of development, the main objective was to preserve the natural character of the terrain as much as possible. For this reason, the architectural contours follow the natural shape of the landscape, allowing the volume to integrate harmoniously into its surroundings. The building develops in terraces, gradually adapting to the topography. The building consists of three above-ground levels and one underground level. The functional areas are distributed according to the client’s requirements: the basement includes a garage for two cars and technical/service spaces. The ground floor accommodates the living and kitchen areas. The second floor contains three bedrooms, while the third floor houses two additional bedrooms. Given the steep terrain, the building is positioned so that the main access is from the southwest side. From this direction, cars can directly reach the basement garage without obstacles. Pedestrian pathways are organized across the site, adapting to the topography and providing access to the house from different levels. The facade is clad in light-colored natural stone, which creates a simple and minimalist appearance. This material choice highlights the building’s geometric clarity and establishes a deliberate contrast with the surrounding landscape, reinforcing the sense of organic integration into the environment.
